CORAL SANDS / YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy policy.
The details you share help us respond to your plans.
Here is how we handle them, and the choices you have.

01 / RESPONSIBILITY
Who we are
Coral Sands (“we”, “us” and “our”) operates coralsands.group and is responsible for handling information submitted through this website. For privacy questions or requests, contact charter@coralsands.group.
This policy covers visits to our website and enquiries about yacht charters, boat hire and private transfers. The website does not offer customer accounts, take payments or confirm bookings. Any later arrangements are discussed separately.
02 / INFORMATION
Information we receive
When you send an enquiry, we receive your full name, email address, telephone number, optional message and confirmation that you agree to be contacted about your enquiry. The form requires your name, email, telephone number and contact agreement; you can leave the message blank.
Without the required fields, the form cannot be submitted. You may instead email us directly. If we correspond afterwards, we receive the content of those communications and the contact details you use.
We and our hosting, form and security providers process technical information such as your IP address, browser details, request time and path, response status and referring page, to operate and protect the website and related services.
Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry. Do not use the form to send passwords, payment details, identity documents or sensitive information such as medical records. Do not include someone else’s personal details unless you have authority to share them.
03 / PURPOSES
How we use it
We use enquiry details to understand your request, contact you by email or telephone, discuss suitable options and respond to follow-up questions. We also use relevant records to manage correspondence, handle privacy requests, prevent misuse and meet applicable legal obligations.
Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a newsletter or authorise unrelated promotional messages. The website does not use profiling or automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
04 / LEGAL BASES
Why we may process your details
Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we process details needed to respond to a request for services as steps you ask us to take before entering a contract. For general correspondence and protecting the website, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and preventing abuse, subject to your rights and interests.
Where processing depends on consent, you can withdraw it by emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully carried out. We may also process information where required by law. The contact checkbox records your agreement to a reply about this enquiry; it is not consent to advertising.
05 / SHARING
Sharing & service providers
The following providers support the website and communications:
- HostZealot — website hosting. Our website runs on infrastructure provided by HostZealot. We process technical connection and security logs to operate and protect the website. See the HostZealot Privacy Statement (opens in a new tab)↗.
- CrowdSec — website security. We use CrowdSec to detect and block abusive traffic. Detected attack signals, including the source IP address, detection time and attack category, may be shared with CrowdSec to support threat prevention. See the CrowdSec Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab)↗.
- FormSubmit — enquiry processing. When you submit the form, your browser sends its contents to FormSubmit. The service is used to forward enquiries to charter@coralsands.group and may carry out spam checks. See FormSubmit’s Privacy Policy (PDF) (opens in a new tab)↗.
- Proton Mail — email handling. The domain’s email service is configured with Proton Mail for receiving and managing correspondence. Email contents and associated delivery information are processed as part of that service. See the Proton Mail Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab)↗.
These providers describe their own processing in the policies above. Information may also be disclosed where necessary to comply with a lawful request or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. If progressing your enquiry requires sharing details with a vessel or transfer operator, we will explain that arrangement before doing so.
07 / LOCATIONS
International processing
Our providers operate across jurisdictions, so information may be processed outside the country where you live. Applicable protections and available rights can differ. The linked provider policies explain their processing locations and any safeguards they describe. Contact us if you would like information about a particular transfer involving your enquiry.
08 / RETENTION
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to respond, complete related discussions and deal with any resulting arrangements. Relevant records may need to be kept longer for applicable legal obligations, disputes or legal claims.
Retention depends on the nature of the request, whether discussions remain active, and any applicable recordkeeping duties. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.
FormSubmit states in its documentation (opens in a new tab)↗ that it retains form submissions in its archive for 30 days. This is separate from copies received by email. Providers may have their own retention practices for operational logs and backups.
09 / SECURITY
Keeping information secure
HTTPS protects information in transit between your browser and HTTPS services. Enquiries pass through the form and email providers described above; they are not published as website content. No online transmission or storage method can guarantee complete security. If you believe information sent to us has been exposed or misused, contact us promptly.
10 / YOUR CHOICES
Your choices & rights
You can ask us to stop following up on your enquiry, correct your details or delete information that is no longer needed. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to access or receive a copy of your information, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent where it is relied upon.
Send requests to charter@coralsands.group, identifying the enquiry and what you would like us to do. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. Some rights have conditions or exceptions, including records we must retain. We will explain any applicable limitation and respond within the time required by applicable law.
You may also complain to the data protection authority competent for your situation. You do not need to contact us first to exercise that right.
11 / CHILDREN
Children’s information
The website and enquiry form are intended for adults arranging services and are not directed at children. Please do not submit children’s personal information through the form. If a child has provided details, a parent or guardian can contact us to request their removal.
12 / KEEPING IN TOUCH
Changes & contact
We may update this policy as the website, providers or information practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
